Congrats to your new release! I have to say your book took my breath away. I bought it and read it in one day. Getting lost in another world was great!

I have read so many books since August...but I want to give you some great reads. Amy Plum's "Die for Me" is a unique read. I also loved Josephine Angelini's book Starcrossed. If you love Greek gods, it’s a romantic and thrilling adventure to get lost in. I have so many to list off, but those two are a great start.

I just read Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick and it was incredible. He has created an entirely new way to tell stories. Don't be put off by the 700+ pages. Half of them are illustrations. One entire storyline is told only in illustrations. It's brilliant. You've got to read it.

Gwen, I just finished Dreaming Awake and WOW!!!! Please tell me there is another book in this series?!
Books I recommend to you are: Angelfire by Courtney Alison Moulton, The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, Nevermore by Kelly Creagh, Angel Burn by L.A. Weatherly, and Unearthly by Cynthia Hand. None are too 'new' but many have sequels due out this month including Angelifre (Wings of the Wicked), Angel Burn (Angel Fire)and Unearthly (Hallowed).

Yay!! I could not wait for the Dreaming Awake to come out! The cover is so pretty!!
One of the best books I have read is A Beautiful Dark by Jocelyn Davies. Also, After Obsession by Carrie Jones and Steven Wedel is amazing.
Some other books I recommend are:

*Die for Me by Amy Plum

Congrats on your book release! I've been going mad for Dreaming Awake ever since i read Falling Under. Oh, Haden <3 can't wait to read about him again.

I loved Nevermore by Kelly Creagh, The Soul Screamer series by Rachel Vincent, Unearthly by Cynthia Hand, Spellbound by Cara Lynn Schultz and Beautiful Creature by Kami garcia and Margaret stohl.

I really loved reading Anna Dressed in blood, Nevermore and clockwork angel, right now I am reading clockwork prince which I am sure a lot have already read, I am a little behind. I would recommend any but I know a lot of people who loved Nevermore, it is a good read.

I finished Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally and absolutely loved it. Or Cynthia Hand's Unearthly, I'm currently reading Hallowed by Cynthia Hand and its awesome.

one of my favorite books of 2011 was Attachments by Rainbow Rowell. there was just something about her characters that grabbed me. they were so REAL. i kept expecting to run into the main male character (he's not exactly a hero) around every corner. there's little to no heat, so good for pretty much anyone :)

Congratulations on the latest release, Gwen! I am a voracious readers as you know, and gobble down books faster than a racehorse at the KyDerby eats furlongs. lol

I am still trying to make a list for the new year, of my favorite books from 2011. The thing is, it's hard because so many books were awesome, I can't decide which ones to leave out.

Umm, I did love Erekos by
A.M. Tuomala, although it's dark fantasy imo.

If you like mystery whodunnits, I loved Laura's (Lippman) latest book, The Most Dangerous Thing.

I really need to finish my list. lol.

As for recommendations: you probably already read it, but Anna and the French Kiss blew me away! As did The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley (a adult romance, but very clean), I really hadn't expect to love it this much, but I did, it's wonderful! Oh, and I can't recommend The Girl of Fire and Thorns enough!

I read The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith which I absolutely loved! I also read Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst which was a very unique read about vampires and unicorns. I'm currently reading Vampire Academy which is definitely a great series you probably have read! (I'm so behind with the series!)
